Windrose Vision is a small business that specializes in program evaluation and policy analysis for the federal government, foundations, and non-profits. We have multiple federal contracts and may hire more than one position from this posting. 


The ideal candidate will have expertise in Microsoft Excel, experience with SPSS to analyze large datasets, and experience with SharePoint sites in Office 365 for businesses. The candidate will give careful attention to detail and possess strong skills in logical thinking and problem-solving. Responsibilities include:

  • Develop and maintain databases and ensure that their data are reliable.
  • Develop Excel macros for extracting data from diverse sources.
  • Create pivot tables to summarize data.
  • Prepare queries and reports for Microsoft Access databases.
  • Organize and maintain Microsoft SharePoint.
  • Collect, enter, and prepare data for quantitative and qualitative analyses.
  • Assist in developing protocols and data collection tools
  • Extract data from diverse primary and secondary sources following established protocols.
  • Filter and clean data and review computer reports to locate and correct data coding problems.
  • Conduct statistical analysis (e.g., t-tests, Chi-square, multiple regression, ANOVA, MANOVA).
  • Interpret results of statistical analysis.
  • Use visualization tools to summarize data.
  • Assist in developing written reports, oral briefings, publications, and presentations

QUALIFICATIONS: A minimum of three years of experience and a bachelor’s degree, Master’s preferred. Demonstrated skills related to extracting data from diverse sources, developing and maintaining databases, and using data mining techniques. Ability to plan, anticipate, and manage multiple tasks. Strong analytic skills and problem solving abilities. Exceptional oral and written communication. Ability and flexibility to work as a contributing member of a project team in a collegial manner, and work independently as needed. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Excel, Microsoft Word, and Outlook. Experience with SQL programming and developing Microsoft Access databases are a plus.
